A family's worst nightmare has become a reality: two brothers, new to Australia, have vanished without a trace.
Just imagine the fear and desperation of a family, having arrived in a new country only ten days prior, now facing the unthinkable. This is the heartbreaking reality for the families of Waleed, 13, and Loay, 18, who have gone missing in Melbourne.
According to reports, the brothers were last seen near their home in Lalor, Melbourne, around 1:00 PM on Sunday. Since then, there has been no sign of them. Police and the boys' family are deeply concerned for their safety, given their young ages and recent arrival in Australia.
Adding to the worry, a Victoria Police spokeswoman confirmed to radio station 3AW that the teens are without mobile phones. This lack of communication further complicates the search efforts.
Waleed is described as being 140cm tall, with a small build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a green T-shirt.
Loay is described as being 170cm tall, with a large build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing jeans and a black T-shirt.
If you have any information about the whereabouts of Waleed and Loay, please contact Mill Park Police Station or Crime Stoppers immediately.
